That time of year...

Well it is that time of year where I become more cynical than I usually am.  As my previous blog post states I am not a fan on Christmas and as then end of the year looms and everyone becomes nostalgic about how incredible that year was. Was it really that great, all I can think about is how rubbish everyone is and how the majority of people don't have anything interesting or worthwhile to say! People are to engrossed in each others status' or people's relationship status, honestly I couldn't care less. Social Networking has become a detriment to our society, people are to hung up on it. People don't care about what's important, I won't deny that I use facebook and twitter etc but it's not the beginning and end of my life! I'd much rather read On the Road or The Trial for the millionth time! I always get that feeling that I was born in the wrong time! I wish I owned a typewriter and wrote letters instead of posting on people's walls! There is nothing stopping me doing this. New Years Resolution for 2012, get out my typewriter and type letters, also use facebook less!
