One of my favourite books

Is being turned into a film. I am a bookie and filmy in equal measures I'd like to think. I'm one of those people that like to keep books and films separate, I'm also one of those people that will moan about how much they missed out or 'that wasn't in the book' and moan about characters and how they didn't cast the right person. So challenge for me; I will go and see this movie because I am very curious, because it's one of my favourite books and because the director is the guy who directed 'The motorcycle Diaries' and a segment from Paris je t'aime. I was a little dubious when I found out this was going to be made in a film, you are very protective over your books and there is always a chance that they will ruin it. But then again there is the same chance that it will be an incredible film in its own right. I'm going to give it a chance and hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised, well I hope I will anyway.
