I had such a lovely day today. I met up with my pal Ben and we decided to go to Shrewsbury for the day. We caught the train and stopped off at marks and spencers to get supplies, such as tortilla chips, punnet of strawbs and grape juice. Our own little mini picnic. We sat by the river and just chatted about when we were younger and the fun we had, stealing people's old Xmas trees that they had thrown out. It didn't occur to us that because the tree was dried out and brown that it would quickly go up in flames when we lit it. Ben nearly did had his eyebrows singed. After we ate our snacks we headed over to the flower display they have. It was absolutely beautiful, all the gorgeous flowers and the waterfalls. We got there just at the right time because the sun wad just shining down on all the flower displays it was just so beautiful. Ben was itching for a costa, and although I am a Starbucks girl through and through I have to admit I thourally enjoyed my iced mocha courtesy of Ben. I had such a lovely day, it made a nice change to be out and about because my adventures are scarce these days
